I've researched the pros and cons to using benzodiazepines for treatment in anxiety and stuttering. For me it's only temporary until I can get on the ecopipam trial or deutrabenazine which is also being trialed for stuttering. I've gone over 20 years with this condition and have tried SSRI's, anti psychotics, beta blockers, CBT, and speech therapy with varying levels of success. If this is what makes me feel normal in the short term then I'll bite the bullet until something better comes out /:
