>I have found that over time I have gotten better at feeling a block farther ahead and can better plan around it so that i hit them less and can work around them in more ways without needing to restart I know what you mean. But this is just avoidance. This allows you to escape from the moment of stuttering and return to the word you want to say when the fear has died down and when you won't get stuck or block on it. Trust me I have done this forever. It's the typical Lee Lovett mental-gymnastic avoidance stuff to work around blocks instead of facing them directly. But I am trying to stop doing it. At this point in my life, I would rather just stutter on the word, embrace the moment, and lower my reactivity levels, move through comfortably, but it's a hard process as well.
