I need your help, adult stutterers. Hi, I’m a high school student (18 years old) in Japan. I have a fear about my future. I stutter when I speak Japanese, but not really in English. I want to ask you adults if people understood about your stuttering when you explained them? And is it difficult to get a job? I really want to be successful. I want to study sociology at university and become a journalist or a teacher. Those jobs require speaking a lot, doesn’t it... And I feel like I stutter more as I get used to speaking English more. I’m learning other languages too, but I’m not good yet. I will be, but I’m worried. I want to make this world better and easier for stutterers to live.
