I can't really come up with an explanation, but for me it's a lot easier to talk on the telephone with friends than with strangers. But I think that doesn't neccessarily have to do with the fact that I know them better and they know about my stutter, but rather that when talking to strangers you often need a longer explanation why you are calling.. and you know that you have to say your full name (while, when talking to friends, I can always switch to "Hey, it's me" whenever I have a block on my name). How about you guys, do you also feel that the phone call is easier when talking to friends?
