Thanks for replying! I do tend to use "bridge sounds" and for me, it's words such as "like" and "so." This is useful whenever I'm not having severe stutter, but it becomes displeasing to both me and my audience whenever I'm having a sever stutter. I want to get through my blocks with breathing like you said to ease this problem. Whenever you pause, how, in detail does the process work? When you get a block, do you exhale the air you held before the block then inhale, or do you inhale right away? Do you try to take in few breaths or just one breath?
