Update to my last post about getting a disability interview https://www.reddit.com/r/Stutter/comments/6lign7/i_set_up_an_interview_for_disability_anyone_else/ So the big day finally came, I had my interview this morning. It started off terribly right off the bat, the woman interviewing me obviously knew nothing about stuttering. The very first question was whats your name? I went into a hard block right away and she seemed to get worried and asked if I was ok and to take it easy. I was able to tell her thats why I was there was because I stuttered, which she replied "I know.". Then she told me to take a breath(this is honestly one of my biggest annoyances as a stutterer) So I managed to fumble through the whole interview, it was about an hour and 5 minutes long. I was light headed by the end because of how much I was getting stuck. I suck in breath really fast and dont breathe when I get stuck, so its pretty draining. Now I just play the waiting game and someone should contact later for a bit more info. It was honestly one of the worst hours of my life in regards to getting stuck. Basically every word was a struggle
