Is This a Stuttering Problem? Okay, so usually when i read, I read fine up until a certain point. These points are random but when i read, I get stuck on certain words. I know i can say the words but my mind just locks up and won't let me say the word. I can feel the word on the tip of my tongue but my brain just will NOT let me say the word. This happens when i try telling stories too. My mind just locks up. But i never stutter when i speak candidly. I feel so embarrassed when i read. Like damn I'm in high school, i feel so stupid. And these lockups last for around 1 second up to maybe 4 or 7 seconds. Its incredibly frustrating. Recently I've taken to reading EVERYTHING i come across to maybe practice but I feel like nothing is working. I just want to get rid of these lockups so badly. Do you guys have any advice?
