Every time I have introduced myself to someone with a stutter (mine was severe but now I’m able to hide it a lot more with word substitutions) I’ve had great experiences. The other person usually would also have a severe stutter, I don’t know if this makes a difference or not. I don’t meet a lot of people with a stutter and it seems other people I meet also haven’t either. I’ve found sometimes it helps to know you aren’t alone in the struggle.
