I am currently doing an internship at FAANG(those who are in CS will know) and its really competitive to get into, but at the time of the interview I was so numb after all those rejections that I didn't care too much and straight up told the interviewer that i stutter and hey I got the job! I also felt i was the most confident i had been in an interview till date and mind you i did stutter a lot in that interview. So i feel like being confident in yourself matters a lot more.
