Even though it's not classed as a disability and there is no financial support like other disabilities, to me it 100% is.. it's effected my entire life, esp in adulthood.. it's ruined any career I wanted to pursue, I've ended up in many dead end low paid jobs, mainly where I work mostly on my own.. it affects my everyday life and decisions, to scared to just walk into a shop and ask for anything without getting stressed out, it becomes a pre planned mission in the end.. not been involved in any meaningful conversation be it family or friends, not once in my life been able to tell a proper joke.. I have often thought to myself it would be easier and less embarrassing if we're dumb,.. I won't ever find a way to stop stammering now, it's ruined my life, and it will continue to do so till I die!
