Here are some suggestions from someone with a moderate, very obvious stutter very used to corporate life and the interview process. 1) For anyone - You need to apply to more than 3 jobs to get some applications that turn into interviews. I applied to like 40 with a graduate degree and had 3 phone screens come of it. 2) Clear the air before you interview and mention your stutter and that it in no way impacts your fit for the position. I think it helps a lot, even if it is a bit awkward. 3) Prepare for the common interview questions by talking through your answers out loud a few times. 4) Come to an understanding that your stutter will have little to do with your success. I butchered my interview so bad with my current employer six years ago. Went home and cried. I got the job and got right to work. Since then, I’ve gotten several promotions and tripled my salary with hustle. I’ve had ups and downs with speech, but very little of a lot of jobs has to do with how you talk. It’s mostly writing emails and putting together written/visual/programmatic content. Even the conversations are informal. This doesn’t apply to all jobs of course, but I’m sure many jobs.
