I’m going to be volunteering helping the speech therapist in my towns school district. What are things you find important that I can touch on? I’m 31M and have stuttered my whole life. I am very excited to do this because I want kids to see an adult helping them that actually has a speech problem as well. There are two kids that stutter in the district that she sees weekly that I am very excited to work with. Obviously I’m going to talk to them about things like being a walking encyclopedia and I’m really hoping to built their confidence mostly. What are some other things you guys can think of that you wish somebody talked about with you as a child? I’m very open to some fresh ideas. I want to help them as much as I can. Thank you!
