Oof that’s a hard one. I think it’s okay if you *can’t.* If you sit there silently without contributing, someone may eventually point it out, and you can take that opportunity to explain why. It’s not your fault you stutter— if they really want you to contribute, they should slow down and be aware of what you need. Of course, that doesn’t fit all situations. Sometimes it’s just a social situation and everyone will just assume you’re quiet and shy and no one will stop and ask when you’re not talking much. It sucks to be left out a lot, especially when there’s something you really want to say but you know you won’t get a chance. It can really suck. It’s easier socializing with just one person or two people rather than a group, but I LIKE being with big groups. Except I know that as soon as there’s an opening for me to talk, I’ll stutter. Anyways I don’t know, I don’t have advice just sympathy lol
