Going to start therapy next Wednesday. Scared. Hi Reddit. This is my first post ever. been lurking for about two years now, but I'd never made an account before. I'm 21, at college, and I'm going to start speech therapy next week. This is my first time going to therapy or any kind, and I'm nervous. What if it doesn't help? Can anything help at this point? dont have the financial resources to pursue different opportunities if this doesn't work out, and I feel like everything depends on this one clinic. I've struggled with stammering since I was 4, and I'm terrified. If this doesn't help either, I dont know what to do.
