I’m 19 and I have mildly improved my stuttering, but vastly improved how I feel by consciously accepting that I stutter, and I reject dwelling on any negative thoughts about it. Stuttering is kind of psychological, and dwelling on stuttering never helps. When non-stutterers talk they don’t really worry about stuttering like we do. They speak naturally, the words flow from a fluent persons mouth. I find it helps to focus on the concepts you want to convey, instead of the words AS you speak. Even if you stutter, the key is to brush off any negative feelings attached to the event, and move on. Stay positive my friend.
