I like the person stuttering made me. I’m in my 40s and didn’t always feel this way. But it has given me a great amount of empathy for people and effectively ended my ability to be shallow minded. I’m pretty blessed otherwise (6’5, athletic, symmetrical etc) and have thought about what a douche I might have turned out if I didn’t have the stutter to humble me.
