Going into university I have a mild stutter am going into university this year to study a bachelor of primary education. Obviously, with this comes many situations where I use my speech e.g. presentations, talking to students/parents. I am worried about doing presentations in university as I did avoid them in high school, however I don't want to let it stop me from doing the course. It was very bold of me to enrol in this course that consists of so much use of my speech and I know it might be hard for me, but I just would like some advice on how to deal with this? I've always said I wanted to be a teacher, but with my stutter I have discarded that thought for a long time. I do have the option to transfer courses by a certain deadline after a month of this course, and am considering it if it gets to overwhelming.
