I think that depends on how you define "practice". I went from being pretty much unable to speak (coudlnt string together two syllables without blocking) to it being nearly undetectable. I have very few worse days, but even those are very survivable. For me practicing means pushing my comfort zone to its limit regularly (if possible every single day). This really sucked, especially at the beginning, but it became a way of life for me! Also I have found that changing my intention when speaking has been very important. That also took very long to get to where I am, and its still work in progress. Give it your all!
