Your kid can have a myriad of conditions, that's just life. There will always be people that stutter. If your kid stutters, he or she will be lucky to have a dad that they can empathize with and who can help guide them through the messiness of living with a stutter. You can help minimize any trauma you're child may experience. Other kids who stutter might not be so lucky. I think the most important think you can do is be a role model for your child. That way, if they do stutter, then they can have see that stuttering won't completely ruin their lives.
