This may sound a little silly but has anyone tested their breathing and peace of mind? I stutter a fair bit, it's quite mild compared to others but it can flair up at times and be a real nuisance. It does help when I take my mind off it, slow down and breath clearly, it also helps when I feel my throat is clear and not blocked , but it tends to feel blocked and is very hard to clear, possibly psychological but I'm unsure. Anyways, I've been reading this book called, "breath: The new science of a lost art " by James Nestor and I haven't had the chance to fact check any of the information in the book, but if it is true, it gives me hope that this could lead to ways to fix or improve our stuttering issues. The books mentions how certain simple techniques have improved blood pressure, activity in the brain, helped cure scoliosis and much more, all through breathing techniques and expanding your lungs capacity through stretches. It does sound far out and like I've said, I'm yet to fact check the information in the book but it's very interesting
