Yeah I experience this too. I guess it would count as talking "at someone/something". My armchair theory has been that, like singing, talking "at someone" uses slightly different parts of the brain than when we're talking to ourselves. There also might be anxiety stuff going on as well of course, but I still stutter on voice notes when I'm not feeling anxious at all so idk. It's really interesting to see when we do and don't stutter, I wish there was more science done so we could figure it out for certain.
