Yes.. stuttering is not a fun experience for either sexes. I am not dismissing the female experience but I understand why a guy will argue that stuttering is worse for men than women. The "burden" society places on men is bigger than that of women. The burden of performance on men is greater than that of a woman. A man is expected to chart a path where he becomes competent enough to provide for himself and family. Yes ..we can argue women are equally pursuing excellence in various fields etc but truth is a woman could do the very bare minimum not over exert herself too much and get a man to "save" her. Men usually do not get "saved" by women. When it comes to relationships... a man is expected to be the more proactive and aggressive one... he has to approach, express interest etc. A woman could just seat pretty and make her picks from all the men approaching her. The average guy does not enjoy such luxury. And having a stutter somehow inhibiting you makes it even more difficult.
