As the other person stated, “I don’t want to” could very well be a *cover* for many things : difficulty understanding the issue herself, , not wanting to let you down with the truth, being *unable to because talking is such a struggle*. It’s unlikely to be a matter of “eh, I just don’t feel like it”.
