I'm glad that it turned out like that for you, but teaching is something completely different. Even a small/moderate amount of stuttering suffices for you to be eliminated just at the first glance. Stuttering aside, I never wanted to be a teacher anyway. I'm thinking of making a career shift towards publishing or coding.
