The strategy that I learned from my speech therapist for this is announcing it to whoever you’re speaking with. “Excuse me, i have a speech impediment and sometimes it takes me a bit longer to get the words out” or whatever. The idea is that there’s an elephant in the room than you’re trying not to think about so just get it out there. Honestly I find this to be the hardest strategy because I want to HIDE my stutter with strategies not make it worse and obvious! But it’s a process of acceptance. Good luck.
