Stuttering as a kid was the worst. Not necessarily elementary school because you didn't really care about what the other kids thought since you grew up knowing them. But once highschool approached things went south; you become more self-aware and conscious about your stutter and let me tell you every time I stuttered in highschool when being called upon I remember each scenario and how I felt. Cooking class I was asked to say "Two eggs, butter and milk" It went something like this "Two eeggs, bbbbbbbbbuttter and mmilk" 30 seconds in my entire class is laughing at me and im petrified, thinking to myself "F*ck me". As a kid it didn't really affect my ability much because I was always playing and having fun, only aspect was being picked on from that one kid. But since I was always taller and stronger I could beat them up. Anyways, in the teenage years it becomes the worse because your subjected to more peers and labelling occurs... new faces and new horrific memories..
