I too am a Stutter + Introvert + Depression sufferer. I too wished for days when my stutter didn’t control my life and dominate my mind. And then it was finally phased out down to a small inconvenience. But no matter what I still have to deal with it, even today, but it is better. I would highly suggest that if you can, seek a mental health therapist. Work on your depression. You’ll always be an introvert, you may reach a point where you feel like you’re more outgoing and social, but you’ll still be an introvert. Once I gained my fluency and started to put myself out there I realized it was too much for me. Having friends can be an exhausting and frustrating daily exercise, even without worrying about your stutter. Now I’m not saying this is going to be how you respond to it, we’re all different. For me personally I stopped having any friends outside of work and solely focused on finding and then spending time with my spouse.
