Dear u/movtains, I also have began stuttering post MVA. It is quite maddening and embarrassing. What I do, if for instance caught up on the word “I” as in I,I,I,I,I,I,etc., I stop myself , take a breath, mumble something about a head injury, and then am able to complete thought and sentence. It is really heartbreaking for me asI have always been quite articulate both in vocal and written word. Keep trying. If you find yourself stuck on a word, stop, take a moment and then attempt to go on. Good luck to you! Iiiiiwill be keeping my fingers crossed for you.
