I've been stuttering since I first started talking. I remember in high school words starting with H and TH were a problem. So "Hello" and "Thank you" were out of the question. Then I got over those sounds and varied between D, T, C, and G. Now it is words which start with vowels (there are so many). My tip for you, practice and pause when you feel you are starting to stutter. Also something I found helps is to silently click my tongue in my mouth when there is a problem. It's like it resets things.
