I know this was posted a while ago but hey whatever lol. I’ve struggled with this so damn much and I go to a very small town high school with a bunch of assholes who make fun of everyone, so before hand I would email by teachers and let them know I would rather not be called on to read because it’s something I find really embarrassing. I even had some teachers who got to see my stuttering in it’s full force who NEVER picked on me again after watching me struggle my way through a paragraph or a presentation. Just make sure they know about it so you can be more comfortable. For me I guess I’ve taken the easy way out but it’s okay to do that sometimes. People are assholes and it messed with me so much knowing I was being judged by a room full of my peers so I would do anything to get out of it. Like I said just talk to your teachers and 99% of them will understand :)
