I just gave a presentation today. I emailed my professor a couple days ago and told him about my irrational fear of public speaking because of my stutter. I asked if I could practice with him there an hour before class, in the classroom, the place I'd be giving my presentation. I think this helped tremendously. About an hour before the presentation, I practiced the whole way through about 5 times, one time with him there in the room for feedback. I asked if I could go first because I didn't want to sit there and make my anxiety worse . When I started presenting to the class, I joked about how I was nervous public speaking, and how I'd rather be chased by a bear than to do a presentation. This made people laugh and kinda loosened everyone up. One girl spoke up and mentioned how she was extremely nervous too and that she hoped she would get an A even if she fainted. Just practice practice practice. Notice what words your stuttering on and change them. Write your "problem"words down, and after the presentation, work on saying those words in the mirror.
