Should I stop to do speech therapy? Hey guys. Well, a few months ago I started doing speech therapy with the support of my family, and I was really excited about that. Finally, I was going to face my ghost that haunted me my whole life. But, my expectations were broken. I like my therapist, but... I don't feel she is helping me. Most of the exercises that she teaches me are practices of reading or speaking in a certain rhythm, or a few memory exercises. They are too shallow. I don't feel that they impact my stuttering of any way. I don't know, I'm thinking that I should stop. I spent a lot of money per month with these therapies and I'm not enjoying the results. But, maybe I should talk to her about these questions first.. Maybe I have to be more patient to wait the results... I don't know. What do you guys think about?
