It may not seem like a win and in your own words you feel like you “failed miserably” but I assure you that this is an absolute win although you may not realize it now. Failing is a part of any progress. We all have to fail before getting better. Don’t let that drag you down. Get up, brush yourself off and keep at it. You going out of your comfort zone is your first step at success. No shame in having lows here and there. It’s part of life and part of you progress. I’m extremely proud of you.
