My speech actually improved when I started work in a noisy environment because I had to put more power in my voice to be heard. Reminded me of my days on the McGuire Programme. I even used the PA system a lot during my time at that factory. I didn't want to let it beat me. Had to practice what to say each time and couldn't do it if someone was watching but it was ok. Except the few times I stuttered and the whole bloody factory heard. Then I wanted the earth to swallow me up.
