It definitely would, but that's not reality. It is what it is, no point in imagining friend groups, lovers, opportunities for a you that doesn't exist. Could your stammering get better? Probably(depending on it's cause), should you idealize that version of you as a pedestal? NO! You stutter because you're human, it is your identity and you will inhabit it till you leave this world, so why not be kinder to yourself? What would change if instead of chasing perfect speech you just stopped giving a fuck? You'd still stutter, but the weight on your shoulders to appearn normal disappears, and ironically you start being like that idealized version of you but with a stutter. You can try singing, breathing techniques, corner of the mouth speaking with your teeth clenched and speaking from the belly. Minimizing the stammer should be to be able to communicate better, not create a false identity, if you slip and stutter-oh well, not your problem. Life is short and stutterers like us need to enjoy ours, regardless of the stigma.
