Seeking Advice: Dealing with Intermittent Stuttering and Looking for Solutions Hey guys, I have mild stuttering. Most people I know don't realize I have this problem, but sometimes I experience really severe episodes where I might stutter through half of a one-minute conversation. It's particularly frustrating because I can usually speak normally when talking to myself, but the stuttering can start randomly when I'm with others. This issue had actually improved for a while, but recently it's resurfaced. I previously worked with speech therapists who identified it as a breathing problem. They prescribed exercises and recommended 90 lessons, though I didn't complete the full course. I'd love to hear from others who have overcome stuttering: * How did you become more fluent? * How can I speak faster when needed without stuttering? * What techniques help you shout or speak confidently without stuttering? Are there any good books about self-teaching breathing techniques or other methods you'd recommend? Looking forward to hearing your experiences and suggestions.
