I'd definitely at least focus on things that won't be super hard to change. Getting in shape is something you can do that has nothing to do with stuttering really. As a 40 year old guy who's stuttered all his life iv had many jobs. You may not start off with the job you want, but there's warehouses (Amazon, homegoods, etc) most of the time on indeed, they hire you and you just show up to orientation. I got on at homegoods that way actually. They hired me by text, which surprised me as I was expecting a phone call or interview) And the job had minimal talking involved. You can always be trying for a better job while you're at the first job you get. But that was 17.50 an hour starting off so not the worst I'm sure. I moved on to better but still. I was listening to a stuttering podcast today and it was about accepting and being ok with your stutter. It's called the stuttering springboard. And 9 out of 10 times just tell who u are talking to that u stutter and they are gonna be understanding. This is the woke age, your ok just the way you are man. Best of Luck!!!
