I have/had a stutter too. Unfortunately it will never become socially accepted I would say. Mainly becuase it is quite annoying to listen to someone that can't get the words out. I find it terribly annoying and anxiety provoking as I can't relax, probably because I stutter myself. When I was younger I was in that place as well sometimes, I felt trapped in my head, because I couldn't share long stories since they would end up in disaster. I must say, now that I am 37, have had much experience with work related speaking, my confidence is higher and I stutter far less than when I was younger. For me the important things are: \- Sleep properly, but not too much \- Don't look at adult content late at night, I pay the price the next day \- Focus on the other when speaking, not on yourself (this is why the phone is so bad, you can't focus on the other person with your eyes, so try to do it mentally) \- When I have a bad day, try to speak in a rythmic fashion, don't force it \- Do things that increase your confidence, be a force for good. I noticed that during Covid-19 my sense of confidence has decreased since my position at work is no longer reinforced in the work place. This seems to have increased my stutter a bit as well.
