The movie is in pre-production, right? If anything, his comments are a good thing and might enact change. I agree with him (and you). I don't have an issue with the actress chosen. Literally she's supposed to have skin "white as snow", but really, who cares. If the dwarfs can be portrayed in a way that the likes of Dinklage can get behind, then Disney should seek their advice. This being said, when it comes to stutters, I'm not really after representation. Although I loved The Last Jedi, DJ's stutter sounded wrong. I've never heard anyone stutter like that. I'm not even sure it wasn't a stutter. Does anyone actually stutter like that?
