I work in a grocery store. One time, a man with what I can only gusse had a thick Jamaican accent asked me a question. I had to ask what he was asking for about 2 times. Still not knowing what he was asking for, I tried to direct him to the service desk, but I began to stutter really badly. After 5 seconds of stuttering, the man walked away, annoyed. So yes, my stutter didn't help me perform my job, but i didn't look like the asshole in the situation cause I was willing to try my best to help the guy and he couldn't wait a few more seconds for me.
