Subconscious movements or gestures?

Subconscious movements or gestures? Anyone else find themselves pointing in some direction or moving their arms in a certain way when struggling through a word? Hard to describe it but I sometimes will point in some direction or in the general direction of whatever I'm talking about (even if it's in another town or area) or find my hand or arm in some position and often not even realise I'm doing it until I get the sentence out.
