What I have to say is that, even though I have a stutter, that doesn't stop me from being myself and showing how much I can accomplish. I'm an activism in secular values and through that, I've gained connections and internships with various organizations, I just had an article published, and I'm constantly getting some of the highest grades in my school. I just had my Deans List certificate come in the mail today. I don't care if it sounds like I'm bragging because all I'm trying to say is that you set yourself by telling yourself things. If you say you'll never be good enough, you won't be. You have to start gaining a new confidence that WE ALL HAVE A DISADVANTAGE, but that doesn't make things impossible. It means we have to work twice as hard, be able to overcome twice as hard, and do what we can that no one will notice. My speech impediment won't define who I am but when I'm older, I want people to look at me and notice that I'm not one of those famous stutterers who overcame but a stutterer who is still living with it and accomplishing so much with it. We have to show others in the future generations that it isn't easy but it's still possible.
