the time has come to find a new job working conditions in my current job are changing. this year alone, 15 people have quit and not been replaced. a lot of their work has fallen on to me. luckily, talking isn't an integral part of my job, so I can get by just fine. however, one of the last people I work with who I like and can work as hard as me, is leaving. I need to leave soon otherwise I will be running an entire supermarket by myself for a measly £7.50 an hour. not ideal. I need a new job. I haven't made a phone call for over 10 years. all my previous jobs I have just kind of fell into via people I know. I'm almost 24 and I need something different but I don't want to put my phone number on my CV. who would even hire me without a phone number though? what if my new job requires me to use a phone every day but I don't know that until I start? fuck this shit. why can't I just win the lottery....
