Just Ruined a Job Interview Thanks to my Stutter I just got off of a Microsoft Teams meeting (Zoom or Skype by a different name), and there goes the rest of my week. A job interview I’ve been looking forward to, and stressing about, for two weeks. I was hoping it was going to be in person. I’m so much better in person, for whatever reason. But we had to do it online, and while some things went well, others obviously didn’t. The interview only went on for half of the time block that was set aside. I had more post-interview questions (pay, hours, uniform, etc) than they had interview questions. I only hope that they believe that I’ve been at my current job for five years, two of those on third shift, because I’m good at my job and deserve a shot. I don’t want to keep working where I am. I can’t keep working where I am. I want out, and I hope they can get me out.
