Thank you again for responding and taking the time to share your experiences of having stutter in the army and after. I really appreciate it! I'll definitely try putting myself in more speaking situations. It's gonna be easier said than done. Or maybe not easier said... But I'll still try. In the second paragraph, you mentioned you had to work really hard to control your speech when you first joined the army. What did you mean by this? Are you saying you had a method of reducing the frequency or severity of your speech blocks? If so, could you share your approach? And I'm curious how would you rate the severity of your stutter now versus back then in the army? Was/Is your stutter mostly blocks or repetitions?
