I've not suggested that anybody should stop. I do not know all the reasons why you succeeded (I'm not an internet psychic). Your attitude suggests that you feel like you accomplished it by trying hard, but I doubt that it's the whole story, so introspect a bit on the factors that led you to success. I'm not seeking "stuttering friendly" jobs, but if I had, I might have had more success than seeking the highly skilled jobs I'm educated for.
