As your'e 16, I assume pay isn't as much of an issue so I would look into restaurant jobs where you aren't front of the house, but still interact with people a bit to ease interacting with co-workers and people. Food runners, busboys and dishwashers are all great jobs to have when you're young. I was a dishwasher as a teenager and although the pay was meager, there was good camaraderie with the other co-workers and the cooks treat you well and feed you if you're on top of your game and wash what they need washed quickly and properly. I'm not sure what class background you have, but a lot of the restaurant industry is working class (back of the house anyway) and they're not as "woke" but far less judgmental than rich folks are. Jokes about race, gender, and yes, maybe even your stutter will be tossed light-heartedly so don't take offense, if it's a good team, the jokes go in all directions. If you show up on time and perform your job admirably you will be respected and learn a lot about people and what it means to work for a living.
