I'd have to concur, definitely. Just the simple of meeting and interacting with people on a daily basis is stressful enough, and even moreso in a professional setting like work. Socially, it's almost torture, mental torture. Simple things like introducing yourself, saying one's name, ordering stuff, navigating those stupid voice activated phone trees on the phone, etc, are chores. Someone in the subway asked me for simple directions the other day, and it was almost as if they shouldn't have bothered. I tend to write things out, thoughts and all, as it's a soothing outlet. But then, i shudder what people would think should they be privy to what i put to paper. I call it my moleskin "Tome of Sorrows", really sad stuff from deep within.
