1) find a new SLP. Many don't know much about stuttering so try to find one that does. 2) I am a severe stutterer, 30 year old male, and over the last 5 years I've realized that people don't care about my stuttering nearly as much as I do. I am my own worst enemy because I always think and expect the worst and that turns into disfluency. Your friends are used to your speech and couldn't care less. 3) you'll never achieve if you don't try. Sure alot of it will be difficult and frustrating, but the end result will be rewarding. This is true for education, employment, friends, romance, fun, anything. Dont stop living life just because you stutter. You can achieve whatever you want and need. Just work hard for it. -Serge
