It’s not anxiety, I agree with you. It’s not something we can control at all. It just happens. We have a misfire in our brains that happen when we think and speak. There is no cure and trying to alter the way we speak makes us look like idiots. The more you realize that it’s part of you and to just live the easier you can forget and love your life. I’m a life long stutterer with bad blocking using phones and ordering food and sometimes can’t say my own name. I’m 37 and I don’t have the energy or time left on this planet to care about my stutter anymore. I wish I had learned this years ago. No one cares that I stutter. I just go and don’t react to my own stammering anymore and neither does anyone else.
